I'm a very formal treasure box that should be admired from afar and seldom touched. Treat me with respect, keeping in mind my awesome beauty and the treasures that I have held through the years.

Come closer.  Take your time to admire me...touch my beautiful stitching, peer inside to see the treasures I have kept safe all these years until today...remember...

    This beautiful box measures about 9" by 7", about the size of a large shaker box.  It has a platform inside that sits just under the lid and holds a double door needle book and scissor pocket.  This platform lifts off to reveal the inside of the box for holding your treasures.  The under side of the lid is tufted as well as the bottom of the box.  It is lined with 100% silk dupioni and the scissor fob is an extra cording which has an old antique button that was my grandmothers attached to it, which of course makes the button very, very old. 

    The instructions for assembling this box is in a separate book which has over 40 pages of written instruction, pictures, and diagrams with the templates in an envelope at the back of the book.  This book is the same instruction book that would be used for assembling any of the Designing Ladies Stitcher Treasure Boxes. 

    This box would be a fabulous heirloom addition to any Stitcher's collection of needle work treasures.  Add your name to the bottom of the box and leave your mark in history for generations to come.
